What is Ennaya?

The more you are yourself, the fewer conflicts, whether personal or professional, will arise and the more freedom, peace and love within yourself will grow.

In 2022, we were looking for a term that embodied all this and came up with the name Ennaya. The idea was born on the beautiful country estate "Piccolo Paradiso" in Contra, Ticino.

Ennaya is composed of the words Enneagram and Maya.

On the one hand, the Enneagram was important to us as part of the word as it is a significant tool for developing awareness. When we understand ourselves and others better, it helps us to be more compassionate, be in our leadership, make better decisions, and let go of old beliefs. On the other hand, we were looking for a word that stands for "growth". That's how we came up with the word “Maya”. Maya (actually "Maia") is the goddess of spring, warmth and growth. It was only after we created the word Ennaya that we found out that Ennaya is also an Arabic girl's name that translates to "love" - what a coincidence!

When we

• are more aware of our being and doing

• let go of old beliefs based on fear

• have more courage to face the truth

• accept what’s right here right now

• have the willpower to stand up for ourselves and

• the courage to walk the path of love

we can all live a life being our true selves and make a difference in our lives and in the lives of others, as well as in nature and society.
